I did find some people earning close to the national median who had retired early or were hoping to quit or reduce their hours of paid work. While form and fill is capable of much higher volumes and at a high speed, those aren’t the only considerations. Faster isn’t always better for business. While a faster packaging process offers less flexibility in bag shapes and styles, it also creates more scrap and waste than when using premade containers.

Certain brands packaged themselves like breath mints, in stylish cardboard packs, to appeal directly to adults. Your classic Finnish salmiakki comes in the shape of a black diamond, but you can also find salty-licorice dragster wheels, pirate coins, farm animals, “witch whistles” (which look more like gray cigarette butts), pacifiers, pastilles, skulls, hockey pucks, octopi, long flat strips resembling squid-ink fettuccine and, of course, traditional Swedish fish.
